Sanctuary
A two-story frame, clapboard-sided building finished. Its design combines Greek Revival and Gibbsian classical styles. The Greek Revival entrance portico features two giant fluted Ionic order columns. Above the entrance portico is the tower with a square base and octagonal lantern and spire. Our historic landmark sanctuary is equipped with sound amplification if needed.
Seating Capacity: 350 –400
Fellowship Hall
The sweeping expanse of this room is enhanced by a wall of windows and hard wood floors. Perfect for a sit-down dinner for 100 or a stand-up cocktail reception for twice that. This versatile room has hosted birthday parties, concerts, wedding receptions, retreats and auctions. The Gold Room in the Fellowship Hall enhances the walls and beautiful antique furniture adds to the charm.
We have event and meeting spaces in our sanctuary and/or fellowship hall that can accommodate up to 250 people. We welcome rentals that meets the moral and ethical standards of the church, from community groups to artistic performances to film companies. Hold your event at South Bushwick Church, we’re happy to have you. Requests should be made no later than 2 weeks in advance of rental date unless circumstances prevent this from happening.
